Firefighters are working to extinguish a serious fireplace Monday in a constructing that homes the Attain Centre on Mason Highway in Stratford.
Firefighters from the Charlottetown, Crossroads and Vernon River departments are on web site.
Mike Cassidy, who owns the constructing, stated the Attain Centre is considered one of 4 tenants within the constructing. He is stated he has spoken to all of the tenants and everybody made it out of the constructing safely.
The Attain Centre supplies a “secure, structured setting in a non-residential setting for youth who’ve accomplished a remedy program and are in restoration from dependancy,” in line with its web site.
Mason Highway, Hollis Avenue and Bunbury Highway had been closed to visitors.
