VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) – The proprietor of a pool and patio firm in Valdosta is now going through felony fees in Lowndes County and deputies there say he’s being investigated in a number of different South Georgia counties as properly.

Jerry Maxwell “Max” Ward, Jr., who operates Quailty Swimming pools & Patio in Valdosta, turned himself in on the Lowndes County Jail August 9.

Ward is accused of taking cost from prospects for pool set up, however by no means doing the work or failing to pay sub-contractors for the job, resulting in liens on the purchasers’ property.

Ward faces 14 felony fees of Conversion of Funds for Actual Property Enhancements.
